Ally graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 and has spent more than 20 years helping people recover from injury, move better and stay active. Starting her career at Stafford Physiotherapy and Pilates in Brisbane, she developed a strong interest in sports and spinal physiotherapy.

After spending two years working and travelling throughout the UK early in her career, Ally returned home to Brisbane where she now balances life as a physiotherapist and mum of two active kids — giving her a real understanding of the importance of keeping your body healthy, strong, and moving well for everyday life.

Over the years, she has developed her expertise across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation approaches. Ally has undertaken further training in the Watson Headache® Approach for headaches and migraines, BPPV, Clinical Pilates, post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation for joint arthroscopies and replacements, western acupuncture and dry needling, sports injury rehabilitation including ACL management, ankle sprains and concussion, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) for pelvic and thoracic dysfunction, strapping and RockTape.

She has extensive experience treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions including headaches and migraines, neck and back pain, thoracic spine and rib pain, shoulder and rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, osteoarthritis, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, and gluteal tendinopathy and bursitis.

Ally’s treatment approach combines a thorough assessment and diagnosis with hands-on manual therapy and individually tailored rehabilitation programs focusing on strength, stability, and long-term outcomes. She values helping patients not only reduce pain, but restore confidence in movement and function.

Whether it’s getting back to work, returning to sport, keeping up with the kids, or simply enjoying time in the garden, Ally is passionate about helping people get back to doing what they love.
